The Royal Brunei Police Force's Gambling Suppression and Vice Prevention Unit carried out two separate raids on Sunday, June 14, resulting in the detention of two local women suspected of involvement in immoral activities across the Brunei-Muara District.
The first operation saw officers apprehend a 39-year-old woman from a rented premises in Kampong Salambigar on suspicion of engaging in immoral conduct. The subsequent raid in Kampong Lumapas led to the arrest of a 29-year-old local woman, who is believed to have both abetted and participated in similar wrongdoing.
Both individuals have been transferred to the Gambling Suppression and Vice Prevention Unit headquarters along with evidence recovered during the enforcement operations, where they remain under investigation.
The RBPF has reiterated its determination to tackle illicit vice activities and breaches of moral standards throughout the nation, emphasising that such efforts are vital to upholding public safety and the welfare of communities.
