Parliament Strengthens Competition Watchdog with Landmark Reform Bill
The Dewan Rakyat has passed the Competition Commission (Amendment) Bill 2026, giving Malaysia's Competition Commission expanded investigative powers and authority to impose penalties in combating cartels and market abuse.
