Canadian sentenced to eight years for attempting to smuggle excess currency out of Pakistan
A Canadian national has been sentenced to eight years imprisonment by a Pakistani court for attempting to illegally export foreign currency exceeding legal limits. He was arrested at Karachi airport in January 2023.
