Indonesia Clarifies Deportation of Palestinian Man Was Based on Interpol Red Notice from Cyprus
Indonesia has defended its deportation of Palestinian national Abdul Karim Raed Miqdad, 41, stating it was based on a valid Interpol Red Notice issued by Cyprus for terrorism-related offences. The man was arrested in Tangerang on July 16 and deported the following day.
