Penang Rolls Out Community Service Orders for Littering, Tightening Environmental Enforcement
Penang has activated community service order enforcement against littering offences effective July 1, replacing warnings with immediate legal action. Penalties include fines up to RM2,000 and compulsory community work under newly amended local government legislation.
