Civil Society Pushes for Gender Parity in Politics, Submits Draft Law to Ensure 30% Women Candidates by GE16
A coalition of civil society organisations has submitted a memorandum and draft law to the government, urging political parties to field at least 30 per cent women candidates for Malaysia's next general election.
